Daniel Stromgren is Proud to be Recognized for his Environmental Record and Policies by Leading Conservation Group.

TOPSHAM, ME-- The Stromgren for House District 54 campaign was notified yesterday by e-mail that it had earned an endorsement from the Maine Conservation Voters. The e-mail, from the bipartisan group who plays a critical role in turning public support for conservation into new laws to protect our air, land, water and wildlife, stated in an e-mail from Political Director Beth Ahearn, that they would be endorsing Daniel's candidacy for the 127th Maine Legislature. The election is November 4, 2014.
“At Maine Conservation Voters, we are dedicated to passing strong environmental legislation, which is why who we elect matters—particularly at the state level, where we have a great opportunity to advance policies that support our outdoor heritage and protect our air, water and public health,” Ahearn has stated in the past.

Daniel is proud to be acknowledged as the District 54 candidate who can best represent the values of Maine's outdoor heritage, character and traditions while still supporting infrastructure upgrades and sustainable energy reform. "I want to thank the Maine Conservation Voters for placing their faith in a candidate that best represents the balance between a healthy Maine economy and our invaluable natural resources.", Stromgren said. "The effort needed to create sustainable industries and protect Maine's pristine beauty is something I have spent the last 20 years working towards. This endorsement is a great honor."

The organization states on their website that, "As a result of successful campaign strategies, a focused policy agenda, and sharp accountability tools, we are building Maine’s environmental movement into a powerful political force." They also publish annual ratings of current legislators based on their voting records in key environmental legislation using multiple tracking methods.

"To be endorsed by an organization that I have long respected and whose values have been shared by both myself and my family for several generations is the first step to ensuring the preservation of our state's legacy and the future of our outdoors for generations to come.
